This gives us the knowledge to give suggestions, know different flows and timelines for different style event, adapt to changes on the fly, and be on our toes throughout the entire event. Our DJs are also versed in judging crowds, which allows them to create custom catered playlists as the night progresses, based on the music styles your guests enjoy.

You don't need a DJ talking on the mic, trying to interact with the crowd, teach people dances, etc. To us, this again falls under the professionalism category. We professional emcee your evening and keep your guests informed of the timeline so that everything flows smoothly. Many brides do not realize just how much of a reception day of coordinator your DJ is. They can help create a flawless reception by announcing activities (such as cake cutting, first dances, etc). They can also keep people informed about what is coming up next. This helps for those guests that want to stay for a certain event in the evening, and then head out. But when it comes to hearing ourselves talk on the mic, we prefer the more modern approach and just let the music move people. There is a difference between your DJ having a friendly, energetic personality and a DJ that is just plain cheesy.

We offer a client area to our contract customers where couples can utilize planning forms, timelines, online payments, song requests lists, and easy message our staff. We alway setup a final meeting to ensure that both you, your DJ, and any hired coordinators are all on the same page. This is our full time job. We are in the office Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm to serve you. Many DJs only do it full time, so they are only available after 5 pm when their day jobs are over. We are available both during our standard office hours and after hours.

Our DJs adapt to your crowd. As the night changes, typically the music style changes. So all of our DJs are trained in multiple genres of music. We also pride ourselves on a more modern music style. Unless specifically requested by the bride and groom, we are not going to play songs like the Hokey Pokey, Chicken Dance, etc. We always stay within your guidelines. We have very unique and clever ways of politely telling guests that we can not play their requested song (if needed).

Timeline
We ALWAYS setup early. This is your special day. The last thing we want is you to worry about whether or not we are going to show up. Setting up early allows for a leisurely setup, any unforeseen setup problems such as stairs or elevators, and changes. Your scheduled DJ has no where else to go. He is there for the duration of your event. This also means that if you want the DJ to play longer, that is certainly possible. We see too many companies that cut it way to close by showing up an hour before the reception. We also do not charge for setup or take down. It does not cut into the time in your package. All of our time periods listed are strictly for the DJ playing music.
